Zhaogu No.2 Coal Mine is located in the eastern part of Jiaozuo Coalfield and Zhaogu Township, Huixian County, Xinxiang City. It is developed and managed by Jiaozuo Coal Industry (Group) Xinxiang Energy Co., Ltd., which is jointly established by Henan Coking Coal Energy Co., Ltd. and Baogang Resources Holdings (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Designed according to the modern mine standards, Zhaogu No.2 Coal Mine started its construction on January 9,2007 and was completed and put into operation on April 23,2011. It is a typical representative of Henan energy application of new equipment, new technology and new technology. Especially in recent years, it has adhered to the goal of high-quality development, fully applied comprehensive mechanized mining technology, and widely adopted advanced equipment at home and abroad. It has realized the transformation from mechanization to informatization and intelligent mine, and actively explored the research of major disaster management. It took the lead in successfully testing the 6.5 m full-mechanized mining technology of one-time mining in Henan Province, and implemented the research and demonstration project of regional gas drainage technology of “hole instead of roadway” for the first time and achieved initial success. It opened a new mode of regional gas control, and built the first intelligent fully mechanized mining face and intelligent heading face of one-time mining in Henan Energy.

On February 21,2023, the first batch of national intelligent demonstration coal mine acceptance expert group carried out on-site acceptance assessment of Zhaogu No.2 Coal Mine. After the data review, on-site verification, questions and discussion, it successfully passed the acceptance of the first batch of national intelligent demonstration coal mines.
